Deck Mockup

For my mockup card deck, I wanted to create something that captured the essence of my unforgettable trip to Banff, Canada. The trip was a special one, taken right after my senior year of high school with my grandparents, my brother, and my parents. During our time there, I experienced so many incredible sights and moments that I wanted to preserve in a way that was both creative and personal. Each card in the deck represents a different aspect of the trip, from the stunning lakes like Lake Louise to the majestic mountains like Sulphur Mountain and Mount Temple. I also included cards for the hikes we went on, which took us through wild, untouched landscapes, showcasing the unique wildlife and beauty of the area. When we weren’t out exploring nature, we would wander through the town of Banff, discovering quirky shops, cafes, and restaurants—some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life. I wanted the design to feel reflective of the cool, crisp atmosphere of Banff, so I chose a color scheme of black, light blue, and white. The black and light blue mirrored the towering mountains and the icy waters of the lakes, while the white brought in a sense of the fresh, snowy air. I used Adobe Illustrator to bring all my ideas to life, carefully crafting each card to highlight the special moments of the trip, whether it was a particular hike, a stunning view, or a memorable meal. It felt like a creative way to reflect on such an important part of my life while also showcasing the beauty of Banff through my own lens
